Prepare for your Postgraduate Degree
The Pre-Master’s is a two-term programme that will help you gain the specialist academic English language skills needed to succeed in a range of Master’s degrees at the University of Huddersfield. You can choose from two routes, depending on the postgraduate degree you want to study: Art and Design or Business.

What will I study?
Classes for the Pre-Master’s are modular in structure, meaning you will study a combination of core modules common to each route, and route-specific modules designed to focus on the subject area most relevant to your future degree. We will support you to gain:
- A range of academic and learning skills
- The right academic qualifications and subject understanding
- The ability to use the English language in an academic environment to a high standard.
